The part people describe twice
Look at the lower field. That single narrow vertical cuts through it, off to one side, and it looks at first like a mistake in an otherwise calm arrangement of flat colour blocks. Cover it with your thumb and the terracotta rectangle starts to float. Uncover it and everything sits down.

This is Alex Ward’s structural chromatics: colour blocked out on a grid, edges cut absolutely clean, surfaces completely flat with nothing softened anywhere.
