Most galleries tell you nothing.
No price on the card. No explanation of why this one is four thousand and the one beside it is four hundred.
Someone stands in the corner who knows the answer and has been trained not to give it to you too quickly. Ask about the price and you’ve shown your hand. Don’t ask, and you leave without the thing you liked.
I never enjoyed standing in those rooms. Not because anybody was lying — because the whole arrangement is built to make you feel like you wandered in by mistake.
Everything is out in the open
The price sits on the work before you’ve decided you want it. There is no premium added at the end, and nothing is marked up because you seemed keen.
And the critics here are allowed to talk you out of things. Charlotte can tell you to pass. Ruby will tell you to buy the poster instead of the canvas when the canvas isn’t worth the money, and she says it under her own name.
Twelve artists, no house style
I didn’t want a gallery where everything matches. A room where every piece agrees with every other piece isn’t a gallery, it’s a furniture shop.
So the twelve have almost nothing in common, and some of what’s here will not be for you. That’s deliberate. You’re meant to walk past eleven of them and stop dead at one.
What arrives is real
What you get is the High-Quality print either on canvas, or poster — full resolution, proper stock, made to order by professional printers and sent to your door. Or take the full resolution, 150MB+ file and print it in your own lab.
The entire website is created and maintained by Ai, with supervision of a real human. What you’re looking at is what gets made, be aware that some mockups might make a print appear larger or in different sizes. Everything is declared before you place your order and start your collection!
Come and look
Find the one that stops you. That’s the whole job, mine and yours.
