Three of Carmen Delacroix's dusk pieces in the same violet, each hiding something: a shoreline that becomes a feather, a key in the moon's reflection, a cat in the shadow of a lit window. Guests see three quiet gradients. Then someone finds the key, and the whole wall starts getting searched.
One is a work of art. Two is a set. Three is a collection, and it is the number that makes a wall look decided rather than filled.
The three pieces
- Shore Becoming Flight: A dusk shoreline that quietly forms a feather.
- Key Beneath the Moon: A twilight moonrise over still water, with a key hidden in the moon's reflection.
- Window Keeping Vigil: A dusk gradient, one amber window, and a cat hidden in the shadow.
How to hang them
In a row, the same frame on all three, about 2 inches apart. Three 12 x 16 in prints come to roughly 40 inches across, right over a standard sofa or a queen bed. Three 18 x 24 in prints come to about 58 inches, for a long wall or a stairwell. The files are close to 3:4, a whisker taller, so standard 12 x 16 or 18 x 24 frames fit with a sliver trimmed.
What you get
Three JPEG files, 7168 x 9728 px each: 23.8 x 32.4 in (60.6 x 82.3 cm) at 300 dpi. You download them straight after checkout, and they are yours to print for your own home as often as you like. Bought one by one they come to $57; as a set, $29.
If you would rather have them printed and shipped, each piece is also on the site as a poster or canvas.
One is a piece. Two is a set. Three is a collection.
Almost nobody stops at one. A second work by the same hand turns a wall into a pairing. A third turns it into something you chose rather than something you bought. There are 6 other works by Carmen Delacroix available.
