The dance ended about four minutes ago. Nobody is in the room. The green shadow in Ribbon Still Restless is not a mistake
Look at the floor first. The shadow under the chair leg runs green, deliberate and cool, the one impossible thing in an otherwise obedient picture.
Everything else behaves.
Cadmium red lies flat across the wall behind the rail. Chrome yellow sits where the warm side light lands on the tabletop and the glass that was left half finished. Cobalt holds the window, and past the window, the sea.
The shoes stay where they were kicked off, ribbons slack, one of them curled as though it had been dropped mid-knot.
No figure. Nobody to look at. Only the four minutes after.
Cafe Fauve at the hour the room goes quiet
In morning light the colour fields read calm and even, easy to live beside while you drink your coffee and answer two emails.
By late afternoon your own daylight warms, the cadmium comes up hot, and the green under the chair stops looking like a decision and starts looking like weather.

The wall decides how big this gets
Nine thousand seven hundred pixels down the long edge means the file holds its grain in the darkest part of that green shadow at the full size above, so the wall sets the scale, not the file. Print it smaller for a hallway. Print it at full height for the room people sit down in. Nothing goes soft or blocky on the way there.
Rule of thumb for hanging: the framed width wants to be about two thirds the width of the furniture below it. At full size this frames up near two feet across, which sits correctly over a console or sideboard of 36 to 48 inches (90 to 120 cm).
Take the file to any print shop or online printer and ask for matte or textured fine art paper. Gloss puts a shine across flat colour fields and turns them muddy.
Compare that to a free wallpaper that collapses past A4, or a subscription that rents you images you never own, or a framed print at ten times this price that you cannot replace when four years of sun have pulled the red out of it.
