Who is responsible for your data

Getilix LLC is the data controller for the information described here. We are based in the United States, and information you give us is stored and processed there.
The short version
We collect what we need to sell you a picture and get it to you. We do not track you around the internet and we have never sold anyone’s personal information.
What we collect
When you place an order. Your name, email address, billing address, and — for prints — your shipping address. Your order contents, order number and order history. The IP address the order came from.
When you create an account. Your email address and a password, which we store hashed and cannot read. An account is optional; you can check out as a guest.
When you pay. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is handled by Stripe, and if you choose to pay over time, by Klarna or Affirm. They receive the information they need to take the payment and are responsible for it under their own privacy policies.
When you contact us or ask for drop alerts. Your email address, and whatever you write in the message.
Automatically. Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps — for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect anything about you from third parties, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
Cookies
We use cookies only to make the site work:

There are no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, because there is no analytics and no advertising on this site. If that changes we will update this page and ask for consent where consent is required.
One thing to be aware of: our page fonts load from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of it. We do not send Google anything else about you, and we are working on serving the fonts ourselves so that request stops happening.
Why we are allowed to use it

How long we keep it
Order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes, which is typically seven years. Account details until you ask us to delete the account. Contact messages for up to two years. Drop-alert emails until you unsubscribe. Server logs for a short rolling period set by our host.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@printasso.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
If the CCPA/CPRA applies to you, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request. Some information has to be kept even after a deletion request, where the law requires it — a completed sale, for instance.
Children
Printasso is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are a US business and your information is stored in the United States. If you are in the EU, the UK, or elsewhere outside the US, your information is transferred there when you buy from us, and US law does not offer the same protections as the law where you live. We only transfer what we need to take your order and deliver it, we hold it no longer than we have to, and you keep every right listed above wherever you are.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date below, and if the change is significant we will say so on the site.
