The lettering stays brushed even when you stand close.

What arrives is a stretched canvas, not a poster behind glass
This ships ready to hang. The canvas is a cotton and polyester composite – blended fibres that take ink evenly without the warp cotton alone would give you – with a matte coating that kills glare under a ceiling fixture or a window. It arrives already stretched on a radiata pine frame from renewable forests, hanging hardware on the back, rubber bumpers on the bottom corners so it sits a quarter inch off the wall.
Size tolerance runs about an eighth of an inch; the medium landscape measures roughly 24 by 16 inches.
No framing, no glass, no waiting on a framer’s quote.

Latex ink holds the spray-colour field without banding
Vega works in spray colour under thick black line, and that gradient – the sunset field behind the cart and the kids – is where cheap printing falls apart into visible bands. This one doesn’t. The latex inks Printasso uses are non-toxic and they lay down colour in passes fine enough that the orange-to-pink wash reads as continuous even when you walk up to it.
The black brush line over the top stays sharp at the edges, which matters because Vega’s figures are drawn loose and the line is where the humour lives. If the ink bled or the resolution dropped, the kids would look sloppy instead of cartoony.
The hand-lettered PALETAS on the cart is the test. It still reads as brushed on, not printed. That’s ink density and resolution working together.
Composite canvas is tougher than paper and easier than original
A poster on matte paper ships flat and you frame it yourself. An original on cotton canvas costs more and ships in a crate. This one splits the difference. The cotton-polyester composite is tougher than paper – it won’t crease in the tube, it won’t fade under a window if you use UV glass – and it arrives finished. You pull it out of the box, check the stretch is even, hang it.
The matte coating means no hotspot when someone turns on a lamp, and the stretch is tight enough that the surface doesn’t ripple when the heat comes on in winter.
The floating frame option – radiata pine in black or white – gives you the gallery look without the framer’s wait, but the unframed canvas already has enough depth to hang on its own.
Canvas. The piece works as a print because the resolution holds Vega’s line and the composite takes the spray field without banding. If you want the paletero cart on your wall this week instead of next month, this is the format that arrives ready and lasts.
