Order It All: priced at the threshold where charm pays

The price sits exactly where wit becomes decor

At $179 for an 24×32, this is threshold pricing. Below $150, a poster is an impulse. Above $200, it needs to anchor a room. Vega is betting the palm tree and the awning together are memorable enough to close that gap.

The bet is sound. Con Todo is specific – not every city has that phrase painted on every taqueria, and the people who recognise it will pay to own the reference. The Dodgers blue is doing work: it ties the piece to LA without a skyline, and blue over ochre holds a wall better than most palettes at this size.

The line is confident. Thick, black, no second-guessing. That reads as intentional rather than careless, and intentional justifies the ask. A wobbly cartoon at this price would be a pass. This one stands still.

The risk is the audience size

Vega’s work lives in a narrow band: people who find LA street culture charming but not people who live it, because the latter already have the real awning. That is a smaller pool than a coastline or a skyline, and it means this piece converts on recognition or it does not convert.

The upside: recognition converts hard. Someone who has ordered con todo a hundred times sees this and buys it in under a minute. No comparison shopping, no size hesitation. The downside: everyone else walks past.

The 24×32 is the right lead size – large enough to justify the line weight, small enough that the price does not require a meeting. The 12×16 at $129 is the safer play for someone testing the artist, but it loses the awning detail. If you are not sure the phrase lands for you, start there.

Buy at the 24×32 if you have ever said the phrase out loud

This is not a comp piece and it is not trying to be. It is a specific joke for a specific audience, priced at the point where charm stops being free. If con todo means something to you, $179 is the right number. If it does not, no size will fix that.

Vega is pricing honestly: not underselling the line, not overselling the market. That is rare enough to respect. Buy.
