Look at the floor
The shadow is still down there. In the right place, the right shape, dark and settled on the boards, as though the chair never left. That one decision is what makes the whole picture work. A floating chair on its own is a trick. A floating chair with its shadow left behind is a rule the room has quietly agreed to, and you will point it out to somebody within a day of hanging it.
