The spray hit a second ago, and the clean edges didn’t flinch.

Look at where the layers stack. They don’t line up. Kai pushed one register a hair off the other, so an edge lands just beside where it should. Printers spend their whole careers killing that gap. He kept it.
That’s the point. Two places, both switched on at once, neither one correcting the other. As one critic put it, the misregistration reads as intention, not accident. Kai calls the style VECTOR GRIT — hard edges and soft spray in the same frame, London concrete greys with one or two Lagos accents, and nothing allowed to blur into mush in the middle.
What it does in your flat
It’s portrait, tall and narrow, so it takes the strip of wall nothing else fits — beside a door, above a desk, the dead end of a hallway. The greys sit easily with whatever is already up. Then someone walks past, catches the orange, comes closer, and finds the slip. You’ll explain it more than once.
